races aren't very long and there's no hills, just 4 left turns. Plus you

I would like to second what David said, there are no bad races. Some races

will favor some individuals but participation not performance is the real

issue. Some races will be more difficult for beginners to do well in but

then they will be more challenging. Almost all the races have multiple

categories so there will be a group that fits your ability.

The events held at PIR and the Velodrome are particularly user friendly.

As co-promoter of the 26th edition of the PIECE OF CAKE ROAD RACE, March

25, I certainly invite you to participate! Though the flattest road

race on our OBRA schedule, it can be technical in a windy sense, and an

excellent place to learn the art of drafting the echelon - essential

"survival choreography."

My advice for your racing prowness is to race everything you can put

your wheels into - there's no "bad races" on the calander?! You'll

learn from them all and failure should only whet your appetite for doing

better the next time.
