Race the Oregon TT Series

I agree...'temporarily' lived in California, one thing I am appreciating

here are ITT races. There are little ITTs in the bay area...basically

there is one ITT then districts then that's it- not really worth to

actually own a ITT bike in that area because of that. The "Need for

Speed" (better name ;)) NW ITT Series at Philomath is a very interesting

course and despite it's ups and downs and curves and flat can all be

done sitting down on an ITT bike. This will keep your mind sharp

through the whole course.

I just gotta say that George Thomas and Terri Gooch have a really

great series of times trials in the Co-Motion/Oregon TT Series

(formerly the Built for Speed) and I think that the race is going

under appreciated. I know that a lot of you were saving yourselves

for the Piece of Cake and that's understandable but next month is the

last time that the race will be held at the Philomath location and

you really shouldn't miss it because this is one of the coolest TT

courses out there. (Try to forgive me, I'm in marketing) This 40k

race has everything to make for an entertaining ride. You've got some

flats, gentle rises, turns and of course one nice climb near the

turn-around. It's so much better than flat, straight and boring. If

you're going to suffer it might as well be entertaining. The race is

moving to the Hood River area and George and Terri say the course

will just as fun as the Philomath course so get out there and show

how fast you are and enjoy the scenery while you're at it. I'm not

just saying this because I won a chocolate bunny today, although the

bunny is inspiring.
