58 cm Cannondale CAAD4 "Aero Road" (model no longer made), set up for Time Trial and Triathlon, suitable even for very hilly courses. 57 cm top tube. Yellow with Black and Silver trim. Bike is in excellent shape and super clean as it is not ridden in the rain and ridden only about two times a week for 7-8 months of year, many parts are brand new or nearly new. Same bike Simoni rode in TT's of 2001 and 2003 Giro wins. Geometry is very similar to Cannondale road bikes excepting 1/2 degree more slack headtube (better on aerobars) and SHORT headtube (lower position). Tubing was developed in Italy's Pinafarina windtunnel and is airfoil aluminum with extended seatmast.
*Nearly new Chris King threadless headset
*Nearly new Profile BCD Full Carbon aero fork
*Nearly new Ritchey Pro 13cm stem
*Dura Ace 9 speed except Ultegra calipers, 12-21 cogset, and front derailleur. Chainrings recently replaced and DA chain only has about 100 miles on it.
*Thompson no layback post (for optimum positioning)
with BRAND NEW Sella Italia Flight Saddle complements 73 degree seat angle well for TT forward or
more "slam back" road style positions. I'll even throw in
my Profile "aqua rack" for bottles behind the saddle!
*Profile Split Second Ti Aerobars with spring loaded
armrests and DA barend shifters, mounted on drop bars
to allow use on hilly (even mtn passes!) courses. Dia-
Compe/Mavic brakelevers
*BRAND NEW, never ridden Velomax Vista Wheelset with virgin Vittoria Rubino Pro rubber
This has been an IDEAL bike for me and it is hard to see it go, but...that new Cervelo P3 on the Hutch's showroom floor stole my heart! Thanks for looking!
$1300 or best offer. I live in Newport but frequently travel to the Willamette Valley.
