Dear Racers,
ODOT has informed us that the landslide that occurred on Highway 224 may effect our race permit for the Estacada Time Trial Series.
We went to look at the slide area today. The highway is closed just beyond our turn-around for the first race.
As it stands now, ETT I, on 17 April, should not be affected. The advantage of the landslide is there should be fewer cars on the road because it will be closed just beyond the turn-around.
Hopefully we will find out soon what the engineers will decide about how to repair the damage and when they will reopen the road.
We will keep everyone updated as we receive new information.
