The 7th Annual Race at Reehers

Timber, Oregon

Sunday, April 17, 2005

11:00 am

Directions: From Portland take Hwy 26 west. After about 40miles turn

left on Timber Rd (after tunnel). Drive 3 miles and turn right on

Cochran Road. Follow signs to race parking. Race venue is the same as

last year. Drive time from Portland = 1 hr.

The Course: Legendary. Rough around the edges. Most climbing on

gravel. Most descending on steep trails. Rare, decisive, flat single

track. Mileages per class are not long but every mile is tough. Note

quite the same course as last year. For the final, detailed course

Cost: $10 for Juniors (whatever the class) $20 for Beginner, $25 for

Sport, Expert and Pro classes

There is no late fee, but only the pre-registered riders get the coveted

Team S&M hat. Day of race is also available.

Prizes: Famous custom medals, 3 deep in each category. Unique prizes

awarded to at least the top 10 overall finishers in both the Beginner

and Sport classes, men and women alike. Cash awarded to the combined

Pro, Elite Expert field. As always, 75% payback to the 25% of the field

men and women alike at last 3 deep. Any women who can crack the top 25%

will be paid twice!!!
