I wanted to especially thank you for adding a separate category 4 women's
race and I want to thank all the women who came out and participated. It
was a good group and a good time and what a turn out!!! Great course..low
traffic (2 dead skunks and 2 dead birds is about all I saw).

Race Organizers Norman Babcock, et al:
Thanks for putting on Oregon's first race of '01, the earliest road
event since 197? Salem-Lincoln City's wetness on a busy highway (anyone
remember that one?).
Although I would contest the accuracy of Cherry Pie flyer's course
description ("Course:...mostly flat with a bit of rolling") I really dig
the route - let's do it again! In my opinion, that is one of the
prettiest (and auto-quietest) sections of the Willamette Valley!
Looked like a good turnout - what was the ridership # for the day?
Respectfully,
David Auker
