duh...stupid me....I was thinking of rotor cranks, too...instead of
power cranks.
yes...as a training aid, they improve your pedaling technique
immensely...as far as I've heard from other people.
I've never been coordinated enough to pedal around the block with
them...and I've always considered myself to have decent pedaling form.
the only bad think I can think of...other than the fact that I'm not
talented enough to use them...is, at least in older versions...not sure
about now....the cranks were prone to tightening themselves on while
pedaling to the point where they would bind up and seize...and the
threaded caps over the crank bolts were impossible to remove once that
happened...at least without trashing them.
