Hello,

I thought I would let you all know that there is a 75 mile recumbent and Tandem race this weekend in The Dalles Oregon.   I live in The Dalles and this is an absolutely awsome course. It has more hill climbs than your normal TT and consist of 4 19 mile loops to make a 75 mile race. This may be the biggest recumbent race of the year. Their will be factory riders from Bachetta USA, and Rans USA. A couple of world record class racers from Europe have come to America just for this race, the Woman 1 hour record holder Ellen Van Vugt and a holder of many mens records Hans Wessels will be there to try and beat the Americans.

All you upright Tandem riders should show up. Their will be two water stations on the course and the downhill section is a real screamer (more fun than you can imagine).

Any OBRA closet recumbent riders should dust off their recumbent and go check their metal against the other recumbent racers. For more info e-mail clayr-@yahoo.com

By the way I'll be there racing.

Sincerely

Craig Thomasian
