KIDS' PEDAL - RIDE, SPONSOR, VOLUNTEER



1,000 children will lead a sea of floats at the Grand Floral Parade of the

Rose Festival as they ride in Kids' Pedal. This super-fun event will let

KIDS be the superstars of a time-honored Portland tradition. Tickets are

$20, proceeds benefit our bicycle education programs and you can buy tickets

through our website: http://www.CommunityCyclingCenter.org/kidspedal/



If you don't have kids, but you like the idea of kids riding, please sponsor

children to ride. We have an abundance of eager children in our programs

who would just LOVE to ride, but their families cannot afford the ticket

cost. CCC Program Manager Katherine Wilson told me today that the 8th grade

kids in her Bike Safety Club were SO excited about the Kids' Pedal because

they'd get to be the oldest kids there and they could show off their skills

being safe. Help kids like these participate! For more information on
