Hospital needs help identifying injured cyclist

From an OHSU press release

PORTLAND, Ore. - An unidentified man is unconscious and in serious

condition in the OHSU Trauma Center. OHSU social workers have tried

unsuccessfully for three days to determine the man's identity. Now they

are asking the public to help.

The man was found lying on the ground with his bike Wednesday, May 4, in

the afternoon on Southwest Fairmont in Portland's Council Crest

neighborhood.

The injured white male is in his mid-40s and approximately 6 feet tall.

He weights about 185 pounds and was wearing a biking outfit. He has

balding, gray hair, but no facial hair.

The man was riding a black Specialized carbon fiber road bike with

yellow lettering, Allez model, with a red water bottle and yellow-orange

tire pump attached. Here's a photo of the bike:

"We want to be sure this man has as much support from his family and

friends as possible, but until we know who he is, we can't contact

them," said Duff Clingman, OHSU trauma social worker.

If you have any information about the identity of this man, please

contact the administrator on duty at OHSU Hospital at 503 494-8311.
