The Oregonian newspaper has identified the rider as Thomas Trent Maben,
38, of Troutdale as the cyclist that was killed. The "short" blurb can

Yesterday afternoon a cyclist was killed in Troutedale while crossing Cherry
Park Road. The driver has been charged with manslaghter. They have not
released the name of this cyclist pending notification of relatives. All we
know right now is that we have all lost a fellow cyclist due to a drunk
