Hello everyone,



As some of you know, the bridge on Farmington Road just a few yards west

of the intersection of River Road has been closed to vehicles since the

start of the year. Yes, cyclists have been riding over it just fine

waiting for the demolition and reconstruction process to comenece.



As of now there is a large quantity of materials now stacked up on the

west approach to the bridge. If one tries to cross the bridge it becomes a

matter of hoisting your bike and climbing over these items which are

large.



Next week demolition of the bridge is planned to start. The plan is to

get the new bridge up and open by next November.



Time to look for other routes in that area.
