Anyone know when John Benenate will be on the Oprah Show? He's about a
mover!
A note about his camp last weekend: it was pretty cool...the facilities
were great, food fine, and the list of speakers/instructors read like a
who's who of Oregon's finest (Karl Maxon, Phil Claud, Russell Morton,
Phil Sanders, Jerry Powell, Darell Provencer, Nelson Vails, Ward
Griffith, Rob Bragg, and others). Being merely 10 miles from the start
of the President's Day Cherry Pie Race made for easy travel Sunday.
I look forward to the 2002 edition!

It was a pretty neat program, and the riders that participated will
enrich Oregon bicycle racing in years to come. I'd look forward to a
spring camp for new riders to become an Oregon institution.
