First off, I would like to say thank you to everyone who came out to race this weekend. We had a very large turnout and great weather. The Pro/Elite field contained 2 Olympians (nordic, tri), a former national champion, and worlds team members from the U.S and Canada. More than not, I think the weekend was a success.

That said, I would like to apologize for the confusion that occurred on the course at the intersection of the large and small loops. I should have recruited a volunteer to be out on the course to direct traffic. Please direct any comments, both negative and positive, to me directly and NOT to the OBRA list or Sunnyside Sports.

This was my third year promoting Pickett's Charge! and it has always been run successfully. We start on time (+/- a few minutes), have quick results and great prizes. Do to schedule conflicts I was unable to have the professional timer, who provides immediate results, this year, but results will be emailed tomorrow (still a good turn around for mtb). Non timed results were available on site immediately after finishing and awards did start in a timely manner. I hope that the few of you who went off course give it a try again next year.

Again, I would like to say thank you to the 270 participants and apologize for the confusion. Please do not complain to Sunnyside Sports and if you feel like publicly flogging me over OBRA, then so be it. Thank you.
