Hey Everyone,



Just a quick thanks to all of you who came out this last weekend to

race at Mt. Hood. It was another epic event with stage 5 rearing its

ugly head regarding weather for a second year in a row. See I told

all of you it can snow in June! Fortunately it was warmer and

sunnier at the finish this time. I just wanted to say thank you very

much to all who came to compete. We had a record number of

participants this year with 445 riders starting stage 1.



The Hood River community really enjoyed the event as did our

sponsors. Please keep them in mind when you are looking to make

purchases in the future as they have all made huge contributions .

Specifically Cramer's Mortgage Services, Cooper Spur Mountain Resort,

Gorge Delights, and of course our title sponsor Full Sail Brewing.

Please feel free to email them your feedback. Positive feedback from

the riders goes along way in continuing to receive support.



Results were posted last night on our web site at

www.mthoodcyclingclassic.com so be sure and check them out. Also

remember that the last race in the Oregon Stage Race Series, the

Elkhorn Cycling Classic is coming up in just a couple of weeks.

Another marquee event that is a must do in Oregon along with the

nationally renowned Cascade Cycling Classic.
