There have been several notes recently posted to the entire list with an

unsubscribe message. Note that these were automatically sent out to all 600

or so members on the ob-@topica.com list, as is anything that is posted to

that address. Sending a note to all 600 people will not automatically

remove you from the list. Candi has taken to manually removing anyone who

posts notes such as yours from both the ob-@topica.com list and the manual

list that she uses to send out race announcements and results. This has 3

negative effects:



1. It requires Candi to manually remove your address from the list negating

a good deal of the value of having an automatically managed list.

2. Your address is also removed from the manual list that Candi maintains

for race flyers and results.

3. It broadcasts to all the list members that you haven't followed the

instructions for list use.



Below is the information on the OBRA mailing lists that Candi has sent out

previously. Please read these and follow the procedure it lists.

After this, you will get an email from Topica.com

asking you to confirm your un-subscribe. Just follow

the instructions in that email!

What is the list for?



Please post your own for sale and discussion points. We started this list

so that I would not have to repost all of the messages individually. You

can send these automatically to the list (ob-@topica.com) and they will go

out to the almost 600 people who currently subscribe.



What is I just want race flyers and results and not all the other message.



Send me a message (ob-@teleport.com). I keep a separate list for these

items to go out to so that they can get the updates, flyers and results and

not get the other volume of messages.
