Thanks everyone for coming out on Monday to race the final Portland MTB

Short Track race of the season. The weather was perfect, the course was

sweet (again), and we had another record turn-out of 151 adult and

junior racers, plus another 16 kiddie racers.



The preliminary results of Monday's race and the overall series totals

are posted at http://www.portlandracing.com. I plan to finalize them

tomorrow.



I would like to use the opportunity to acknowledge one more time our

great sponsors. Series title sponsor Bike N' Hike has been our #1 cheer

leader from day one and provided excellent on-site support. Giant

Bicycles, Team Estrogen, Webcyclery, Northwest Event Photography,

Pyramid Brewing, and Dirt Rag all contributed with great prizes. And St

Honore Bakery, New Seasons Market, Izze, Tazo, and Clif Bar provided us

with plenty of product to stock our food station and fill our weekly

Finally, a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers. From the people at the

registration desk, to the lap counters and finish officials, to the

folks who helped set up and tear down the course each week, you all did

an awesome job. I know that without your help we wouldn't have been able

to pull it off.
