As you all probably know by now you can discount your entry fee at Tuesday

PIR by brining canned food. It benefits a shelter for homeless kids

(Salvation Army Greenhouse)....The deal for those of you who don't know is -

get a buck off per can up to three cans per night....or....bring three cans

and race for 1988 prices ($11).



The Salvation Army Greenhouse has enough (thank you very much) of the

following:



- tomato sauce

- cranberry juice

- any food in a box or plastic container



Therefore, these items will not be accepted at PIR (unless I'm really

hungry).



Also, please remember that these kids actually live on this stuff - so

please make donations that you would want to live on (anchovies included).

If anyone brings 3 cans of tomato sauce to the registration table for any

reason they will be publicly humiliated and banned from PIR for the season.
