The Nike sunglasses are going faster than I expected. It looks like
I'm going to run out before September 6. If you're interested, don't
wait for the first Tuesday to send in your registration. Go to:
www.obra.org/forms, print out a standard release, and send it in with
payment for a four week pass, to:
Steven Mullen
7314 SE 27th Ave
Portland, OR 97202
Women and Juniors pay $20 for the season pass. Everybody else, $40.
You can also send the registration to my paypal account, if you want to
be sure to get it to me before the sunglasses run out. My paypal id
is: scmu-@aol.com. But make sure you provide your OBRA number,
category, etc. And still print the standard release form out, and mail
it, or bring it with you on September 6.

Free Nike Sunglasses for PIR Handicap Riders scm-@aol.com
Aug 18, 2005 11:04 PDT
I have 40 pair of Nike GDO Square sunglasses for the first 40 riders
who buy a season pass (4 races) for the September Tuesday Night
Handicap Race Series. These are a matte black frame, with a grey lens,
and a yellow stripe on one temple. The frames sell for $70 - $80 on
the internet (google "Nike GDO Square" if you want to see what they
look like). These are probably worth more, because they are an
unofficial TDF/Lance edition that never made it to retail.
The season pass is $40. Its like racing for free! Actually, its
almost like you're getting paid to race!
Show up early on September 6, and buy the season pass (even if you can
only do one or two races), and I'll have the sunglasses there for you.
Or, go to www.obra.org, print out a standard release, and mail it to
me, with a check, to:
Steven Mullen
7314 SE 27th
Portland, OR 97202
I'll reserve a pair for you to pick up on the sixth. But if you mail
the check, mail it EARLY! Remember, that Monday is Labor Day, so I
need to have pre-registrations by September 3rd.
Proceeds from the PIR Tuesday Night Handicap Series will be used to
create a Charley Christensen Memorial Fund. So, please, support this
series!
