Conor Buescher
Hi,
If you?re closer to the Salem area Antonio and Mauro will be visiting South
Salem Cycleworks also on Thursday the 15th. The scheduled time is from 10am
until noon.
The other big news is that Antonio is retiring at the end of this year so he
won?t be visiting the United States for frame measurement tours in the
future.
If you have additional questions you can call Michael Wolfe at 503-399-9848;
I?m sure he would be glad to schedule a measurement/fitting time for you.
Additional information about SSC and the Mondonico visit is available at:
http://www.sscycleworks.net/default.htm or the Torelli website listed below.
Thanks,
Conor Buescher
Have you ever toyed with the idea of having a custom made bike? I bought my
20th anniversary Torelli a few years ago, handcrafted by Antonio and his son
Mauro Mondonico, 2nd and 3rd generation frame builders respectively. I met
them at Bike Central where they measured me, asked me my riding style, and
goals. Then they went back to Italy and crafted a masterpiece for me (see my
bike <http://www.familyroast.com/news/biketrip/index.htm> )
How often do you get to meet the builders of your frame? Well Bike Central
will be hosting Mauro and Antonio again on Thursday, September 15th (at
around 1:30pm). Come by the shop to meet these great characters, practice your
Italian and enjoy some complimentary Nossa Familia Coffee (we'll be serving
our dark Italian roast to go with the theme :)
To find out more about Mondonico bikes, and to schedule to be measured call
Bike Central at 503.227.4439 and/or visit www.torelli.com
