Hello-



I'm a new arrival in Portland (last week) and new OBRA-registered rider

and I am looking for some training partners who live here in the city.

For now, I have an extremely flexible schedule and would like to put in

some good base miles before my schedule becomes more constrained by

distractions like full-time employment.



I'm interested in learning the preferred local training routes, putting

in some good base miles (I'm a little late getting started this season),

and meeting some cyclists. I live in North West and can ride most any

time of day, subject to occasional constraints.



Longer term I'm interested in finding a team to ride with and making

some greater contribution to the cycling scene around Portland. I was

the fundraising/marketing person for my team in Marin County and we were

quite successful (in obtaining sponsorship, anyway)!

oriented.
