2006 Mt Bike Race Schedule

Mt Bike races are almost always on Sunday if that

helps. Saturday event during Oakridge FTF is just

tours...done trying short tracks, Cyclocross, Stage

races...they just don't pull enough people.

There should be more room this year to be flexable.

Big K and Willamette Pass XC's are gone and the Fall

City race is late in August now because of spotted

owls.

We have to have some MTB and road races the same

weekend, there are

just too many events and not enough weekends. But

can the race

organizers make an attempt not to have too many on

the same DAY? I don't

mind doubling up on a weekend, but it's hard to

choose between two races

you like. Seems like it could happen with this much

advance notice.

Here are the Mt Bike Race dates I know as of now.

It would be great for people that race both Mt and

Road to not have to

pick between races...it would be great if there were

not road events the

same weekend.

There are a lot of people that race both.

March 26 Mudslinger

May 21 Chainbreaker

June 11 TOE

June 25 Cream Puff

July 2 Outback Challenge in Lakeview

July 22-23 Oakridge Fat Tire Fest and Ridefest Aug

20 Firecracker @ Fall

City

12/24 Hours of Willamette Pass will be late July or

Early Aug...waiting

for 24HOA dates that will be releases at Interbike,

so we can avoid

those dates.

Please let me know if you have any questions Thanks

Randy
