Monday Night Paceline Practice

Steve-

I am interested. And, if enough women turn out, I think it would be

very beneficial to have a women's practice. Otherwise, I will ride with

the guys.

Thanks,

Eryn

A few riders have expressed interest in having an opportunity to

practice paceline technique in a non-race environment. I just checked

with PIR, and we could do this on Monday, the 19th, if there is enough

interest.

I will make a final announcement Monday morning, depending on level of

interest, and weather, so don't just assume this is going to happen.

Watch topica, or if you don't watch Topica, let me know, and I'll email

you directly.

The plan: we will meet at 6:15, break up into groups of ten or so

riders, and just work on paceline drills. Probably try a coule of laps

around 15 mph, then take it up to 20 to see how everyone does. We will

focus on keeping the groups as tight as we possibly can.

What we need: first of all, I need a rough idea of how many riders are

interested. Send me an email so I know. Also, any experienced riders

out there available to coach? I doubt, even by Monday, I'll be able to

ride with this broken scapula. So, we need at least 3-4 experienced

riders to help out.

Cost: $5 donation (optional). I'll bring the donations jar for the

Charley Chrisensen Memorial Fund with me.

Remember, check back here on Monday to see if this is a go, or not.

Please forward this email to friends who don't read Topica.

Thanks.
