I have just received an offer from HH Racing group to specially construct

kid's track bikes in wheel sizes down to 16". These bikes will be moderate

in price. More than what we paid for the current rental fleet at Alpenrose

but not outrageous. Since we already have 9 650 wheeled, 43 cm bikes I am

not inclined to purchase any for the track unless I get a tremendous

outpouring of demand. I also have some doubts about whether kids that need

a smaller than 43 cm bike will be able to generate the speed needed to ride

at Alpenrose. On the other hand I thought that there might be some

individuals that would be interested. Let me know if you need more info.

Several weeks ago I was asked if there was any way that we could get more

tiny 24" wheel track bikes for use at Alpenrose. In researching this deal I

managed to find someone who will be able to get small aluminum frames put

together according to our design. The price will be around $600 for a

complete bike. The more we order the cheaper it gets so I want to make as

big an order as I can.
