I want to thank Mr David Beede for putting this race together (my role

has been to gather prizes - he's basically done everything else).

Pretty amazing: organizing a mid-Willamette Valley road race when he's

living in Seattle! (At this moment, he's on his way up from Eugene to

pick up the OBRA truck, after having driven down from Seattle

yesterday.) Be SURE to give him a hearty "Thank you, David!" Cakes

don't grow on trees...



And eat yer cake (after ya race it)!
