Hey folks,



Slightly off topic but I'd like to request some help. Both Michael

Manning and I are part of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness

and Sports.



Our mission is:

To actively promote the preventative and lifelong benefits associated

with physical fitness and proper nutrition for Oregonians.



To be aware of the physical condition of Oregonians.



To encourage, recognize and promote sports for Oregonians and for

Oregon.



Our website is at www.oregonfitness.org (it's temporarily housed on

my personal webspace - and is currently undergoing a remodel)



We're looking for contacts within the health, fitness and sports

public/private groups. e.g. BTA, OBRA, Rodeo organizers, Nike,

Adidas, Oregon Tourism Commission, media outlets, DHS, Kaiser

Permanente, OMA, Special Olympics, health clubs, etc. It's a pretty

big net. In essence, we're looking to collaborate and coordinate

efforts to achieve our mission.
