Jonathan Maus
Steve and OBRA-ites,
Getting your bike stolen sucks...so I started a stolen bike listing on BikePortland.org and I've already helped two people find their bikes! It's easy, it's free and it's very local. Hundreds of local cyclists visit every day...the same people that are likely to see your bike out on the streets.
Learn more about my listings here - http://bikeportland.org/stolenbikes.
And please encourage your friends and your local shop to look through the listings before buying a used bike.
Cheers,
--Jonathan

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Stolen Bike-(oh yeah, with a car)
Well, the bikes worth more than the car, although it would be nice to
find that too as it had all of my bike gear in the trunk.
Stolen last night from the "quiet" neighborhood of SE 51st ave between
Salmon and Taylor.
Please, if you can, be on the lookout for a 58(57)cm Felt F1x cyclocross
bike. It's black, and has many parts that woud stand out to bike
enthusiasts:
Triple ti crank brothers egg beaters
Cane Creek Team Ti wheels (Ti spokes)
FSA carbon laid-back seatpost
Ritchey WCS Stem
Felt Carbon Bars
Ultegra
Truvativ two-piece cranks (Hollow axle like xtr)
Sella italia SLR ti saddle
(I'll have the serial number later from the shop)
The car, in case it is on the side of the road somewhere, is a White
Volvo 740, 1987,
Salmon Plate #SL 57311
It's got (maybe still) Thule racks with a Thule fairing.
Thanks so much in advance for keeping an eye out.
Steve
