Team In Training is a comprehensive endurance-training program for runners, walkers, triathletes and cyclists to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The goal of Team In Training is to increase funding to support the Society?s mission while promoting fitness and healthy life styles.   All proceeds raised from the Team In Training support the Society's programs of research, patient aid, public and professional education, and community service.



Team in Training (TNT), the largest fundraising program for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides a win-win experience for walkers, runners, triathletes, cyclists and leukemia patients. Participants raise money in exchange for a personalized fitness plan that will help them successfully walk or run a marathon (26.2 miles) participate in a triathlon, or ride a century bike ride (100 miles). In addition, each participant?s travel, accommodations and event entry are arranged for by the Society.   This fitness program includes a certified coach, a support team to train with, and fitness and nutrition tips. Team members train in honor of local blood cancer patients and survivors, who provide inspiration and motivation.   Fundraising is achieved with the help of the materials provided, staff and mentor expertise, and monthly Team clinics. Once TNT participants reach their fundraising goal, they travel with the Team to the destination event.



I have been the coach for the Eugene cycling group for the past couple years and it has been one of those "giving back to the community" events that can make cycling more than just riding and racing. I won't be able to coach this year for a group that will start training in January to ride a century at Lake Tahoe on June 4th.



I have coached this group and still raced. As a TNT Coach, you are required to lead group rides every other Saturday and to provide weekly schedules for the team. TNT Cycle Coaches also lead clinics on topics such as bike fit, nutrition and race day preparation. You also respond to emails and calls from participants during the week .
