Hey All,

The really nice (and appearently really short, FM 95.5 listening) meth

tweaker who stole my car was kind enough to leave it only 20 blocks from

my house.



My car was recovered by the police today. The bike, not so much

recovered, but at least my considerate meth buddy also left me my

helmets and shoes. The gear is gone, but he missed 3 armwarmers and one

leg warmer so, yeehaw, I'm set! That should get me through the winter in

style. I hope the tweaker wears my Veloce kits well. Could go very well

with Matt's Beaver Grrrrr sweatshirt.



(Teammates- I can see the joke about me being skinny enough to use an

armwarmer as a leg-warmer coming, so I'll save you the time :)



The thief pried the Thule bike carrier with a bar, and tried to get the

whole rack off, popping two lock cores out, but evidently did not have

time to figure out how to remove the towers. Good.



The only other damage I can tell so far is a ripped-out overhead light.

Overall, it could have been far worse.



Thanks so much for the dozens of emails from fellow obra folks I

recieved. It did help. You all are great.
