NightSun is still around and selling the Team Issue light (http://www.night-sun.com/) and they have replacement parts. Mine is about 15 years old, but a couple batteries and light bulbs replacements have keep it working like new.

I agree.? I have thesame light and it is great.? It lights the road like a car headlightbecause you get 40 to 50 watts of light depending on which setting you use,with up to 4 hours of run time because it is using only 10 watts.? It alsohas three white LEDs for situations where you want to be seen but do not needthe HID light, and that is good for 80 hours.? I also use the rear taillight with it, and it can be seen much farther away than a normal LED taillight.

I'mon my second NiteRider HID (my first was jacked at REI about a month ago).

Iopted for the one that had 3 HID modes, simply to preserve battery life. I uselow when there are street lights and high when there aren't. My commute is 30miles round trip, so in the winter, I pay attention to the battery levels.

Withthe NiteRoder, you can get this wildly bright taillight too.
