Fellow OBRA members,
You're right Castelli has come to Portland and we should all be excited about having them as a part of our business and cycling community.
I'm not sure what the intention of broadcasting the news and their contact info to the whole group was but I hope they don't get bombarded with OBRA calls and e-mails.
I know some of the staff members and they are working hard to consolidate two locations and a lot of inventory (which is in Minneapolis), get a staff in place, and make sure the 2006 orders are on the books. It?s a huge amount of work in a short timeline and they are trying to do it as quickly and with as little disruption in their business as possible.
I may be reading too much into those few e-mails, but I dread the thought of them getting 100 calls requesting sponsorship for a team or event. Please give them a little time and breathing room to get their offices moved and functioning.
If I jumped to conclusions accept my apology and hit delete. I'm just looking out for a friend.
Regards
Michael Nyberg
