Man you should have seen him at the barriers (Chris H), it was funny to
watch like a fish out of water. He did really well considering he has never
really done cross.He got 13th and 11th and he interacted with the crowd a
lot and yelled at other riders to get out of the way. Ha ha
It was so hot in Watsonville they were allowing feed zones AKA WATER in
the pits for the lower races, UCI said no feeds on the Elites but it was
like racing in a sauna. I think it hit 84 and you got a mouth full of dust
and instant cottonmouth by lap one. Nice events though.
