Bike Commute to PIR for Monday Night Races, Save a BUCK!!

Jim Anderson

2001-04-04

In an effort to urge racers of the Lakeside Bicycles Monday Night

Masters And Women PIR series to

BIKE COMMUTE to the race, I am offering $1.00 off your entry fee. In

return, I will donate the $1.00 to the Bicycle Transportation

Alliance(BTA). This will be an honor system deal, just tell me that you

bike commuted and you get the buck off. I'll keep track of the racers

that do it. Any questions about this please contact me.

Also donations of any kind will be accepted for non commuters or other

people that want to join the BTA. See info at race or info on BTA

below. If you don't know about the BTA knows the time!

Hopefully by July we will have a big group of you commuting out there,

maybe bike commuters could all meet up at a point downtown or in

southeast and ride out to PIR? Maybe an experienced PIR racer-bike

commuter could give details on how long it takes and routes to get

there?

Also, if you can't bike commute, please car pool so you can use the HOV

lane, its super fast!
