Hello all,
Next Thursday, November 24th marks the reopening of the Harris bridge on
Farmington road just west of the River road intersection in western
Washington County. This bridge has been entirely replaced and is very
smooth to ride over now. Fresh pavement adorns the approaches from each end
as well. The return of this bridge to service will be a welcome relief to
the residents of the area as it has required detours of close to ten miles
for a one or two mile direct route for routine transits.
This also makes cyclists happy by not requiring out of the way detours for
your favorite training routes.
Enjoy the ride and the Holiday.
