Cass, Bill
I know........... you don't own a track bike...... your scared of the
turns..... you feel like you need to hold onto a brake lever.... and your
not quite sure about that fixed gear thing. We can help. Come on out on
Wednesday night and for $5.00 we will teach you how to fly around Alpenrose
Velodrome's notoriously steep banked turns. If you don't already own a track
bike, we can rent you a bike for the low, low price or $5.00 . If you live
in Oregon, you need to come out to play on the track at least once. You
won't regret it.
If you have conquered the turns but want to work on some of your skills
before you jump into the Thursday night races we can help there too. We have
a schedule of drills that will teach you everything you need to know to line
up on the rail Thursday night. We might even show you were the finish line
is.
