Specialized has just released a new, foldable, version in an All Weather

tread. The tire weighs only 270 grams!

Wow, I never knew they came in a foldable version. Have you found

another folder that's similarly durable?

Try Specialized All Weathers, same tech but not as many layers of belt. Still, great mileage. I've gotten 2500, 3000 miles from 'em.

I've used 700x23 Armadillos on the road and have had more than one pair wear out at 4-6k miles with no flats. I've definately gotten flats on others, but the tires are pretty bomb proof.

    None that I know of.

But I can tell you all, I put a set of Specialized?s Hemisphere Armadillo tires (big heavy 26 x 1.95 street tires) on my townie and put more than 6,000 miles on them with only three flats. And then I put them on another bike, still with usable tread, and sold it. I figure if I had kept them I could have gotten 8,000 miles out of those tires easy.
