Hello Portland bikers,



Just one final note about BikeCraft and the Shift Social. This unprecedented gathering of bike artists and the bike community will happen tomorrow (Weds) night from 4-10PM at Urban Grind Coffee on 2214 NE Oregon St.

--There will be 19 artists to appease your every bike gift desire including; bike embroidered pillow cases, bike-inspired pottery, bike furniture and sculpture, fine art created from bike parts, bike zines and posters, bikey T-shirts, stickers and patches, inner tube bracelets, letterpress postcards and calendars with bike-riding characters, warm and cozy bike hats, a Museum of Bike Weaponry, bike films, bike photo postcards, and more!



--In addition to BikeCraft this will be the night to learn more about Shift to Bikes and get involved with the most unbelievable event of the bike year, Pedalpalooza 2006.



Here's a schedule of events:

4:00 - BikeCraft doors open!

4-6:00 - Pedalpalooza '05 slideshow

7-8:00 - Trash Mountain Boys perform

8-8:30 - Raffle with tons of cool prizes and gift certificates

8:30 - 10:00 - Movie screenings (from Filmed by Bike and BikeTV)



This event is also very kid-friendly. There's an entire area for kids to play in and we'll have some activities for the little ones and the CCC is bringing their Bike Art program as well.



There is ample and secure indoor bike parking to keep your steed warm while you shop and hang out.



Don't miss me and artist/biker Carye Bye on the KBOO Bike Show tomorrow morning at 9AM on 90.7FM.
