Giant Bicycles to Sponsor Burnaby SixDay

Giant Bicycle Canada has supplied a 2006 Omnium Track Frameset for the

Saturday Junior Night of racing. The prize will be awarded to the top

Junior racer of the night. As event organizer I was very pleased when

Giant Canada agreed to get involved with our event, we both agreed that

the Omnium frame should go to an up and coming young rider.



Said Wayne Bleakley of Giant "Hopefully it is awarded to a rider who is

looking to upgrade his or her bike, or better yet to a new racer using a

rental bike and help spark a new passion for Track cycling. Giant is

very pleased to be associated with the Burnaby Velodrome for this event

and we look forward to supporting more events in the future".
