Truly one of the saddest things I have heard in quite some time.

Jim was a one-off and truly an inspiration. What a bike rider, and moreover,
wonderful man.

Damn, that's sad.

I'm very saddened to hear about Jim's passing. He was a great competitor
and a fine human being. Really enjoyed racing with him at PIR. He will be
missed by many.

Dear OBRA Community,

I am sad to say that Jim Henry passed away this afternoon two weeks
after a cycling accident just outside his hometown of Salem. An OBRA
racer in the past he was affectionately known as one-armed Jim. A
very affable individual Jim was known for his caring nature and
kindness. He was a teacher in the Salem school district. We will all
miss you Jim.

I will pass on details of any service or whether flowers/condolences
will be accepted as it becomes available.

My condolences to Mr. Henry's friends and family. I am only a fan and was fortunate enough to have exchanged hellos with him.

David,

I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am about you donating your

winnings to Jim Henry. That is just so neat! Jim is just such a

inspiration to us all.
