Jim Henry and Kings Valley Race

Hi gang -

In Jim's "defense", I'd like to point out that he broke his own frame under

the stress of hard pedalling, not due to a crash. I'd hate to see the guy

get a rep as a wild child (-;!

Unless he just purchased it, he may have also been riding a borrowed

bike. He recently broke his own frame.<<

Racers, Officials, and others,

I wanted to thank those who stopped to help with Jim Henry's accident. I

talked with Jim later that evening (Sat) and he too wanted to say thanks to

all of you who came to his aid. Of course he was a little bummed that he

messed with our race but as I reminded him he kept us from having to sprint

up that hill for the finish! He was also asking me if I wanted to go up to

Tuesday's PIR! That's Jim for you. The EMT's cut up at least two of his

jersey's getting the neck collar on him before they transported him, so I'm

sure he would appreciate any financial help we all could give him. Unless

he just purchased it, he may have also been riding a borrowed bike. He

recently broke his own frame. But I'll find out the skinny on the bike. I

don't know the farmers name but we had a guy who came out with blankets and

coats for those of us who stayed until the EMT's took over so if anyone

knows his name or rides out in that area you might let him know how much he

was appreciated.

Once again thanks for stopping, your concern, and your offers of assistance.
