Subject: D20: track espoir championships for 2001



At the USCF board meeting in Texas this last weekend emergency

legislation was passed for a limited championship to be run for the

espoirs, this year. Future legislation will be considered for

additional Espoir championships next year.

                4k pursuit      3k pursuit



The championships will be run within the normal program for elite

nationals and the champions awarded by either the single ride or the

qualifying ride for the pursuits. The USCF staff will be notifying

those riders that are eligible to compete in these championships in the

near future.



Please pass this along to clubs, associations, and ATRA members about

the addition of these championships.
