6-day Training Ride on Northern California Coast

We are looking for a few more bodies for a nice training ride we have done

in years past. Go from Cave Junction, Oregon to Santa Rosa,

California, down the Coastline. Big tailwinds the whole way, lots of huge

redwood trees, amazing and isolated coastal cliffs, elk herds and excellent

prospects

for generally pleasing weather. We will cover approximately 420 miles in 6

days. Motels and rental cars back to Grants Pass will run approximately

$300. Additional expenses are primarily food. This is not a supported

ride, so you need to be self-sufficient. However, 10 pounds of gear will

get you

through since we motel it, and the route is extremely easy to follow. The

dates are May 16-21, which is an excellent time to put some serious mileage

in before the summer racing season. Respond to the above

e-mail address or call me at (541)471-9239 if you are interested. If you

can find the time, you will not be disappointed!
