With less than one month, The Eugene Celebration Cycling Classic

(September 15-16th) is gearing up to be the big event at the end of the

season. Some major improvements have just happened to the event for this

year. They include a Presenting Sponsor: Wells Fargo Bank, Media

Sponsors: Springfield News and KMTR News (NBC Affiliate) and Additional

Sponsors: Russ Humberston Auto Group, and ClifBar.

The media coverage for this event is huge for the Oregon racing scene.

Very rare do events get such a huge media build up as this one. The KMTR

News (Eugene/Springfield Metro Area) is doing 100+ TV spots running

August 25th-Sept 15th to build image awareness, increase ridership and

spectators for the event. The Springfield News which includes Cottage

Grove, Corvallis and Albany Community Newspapers has agreed to produce

55,000+ special Eugene Celebration Cycling Classic Programs directly

inserted into those mentioned newspapers.

Also we are looking to fill volunteer spots, to be part of this great

event please contact me. Volunteer positions run 3hrs for all 3 stages.

Volunteer perks include, T-Shirt, Festival Button, entry into special

volunteer prize raffle, a thank you letter and best spectator vantage

point! Please let me know if you can volunteer!

The Eugene Celebration Cycling Classic is held in Lane County, in

Eugene, Oregon on September 15-16th. Stages 1 and 2 are held in Cottage

Grove and Stage 3 is held in the Lorane Valley Area.
