If anyone on the email lists know of people that can help with this
event let me know, please feel free to forward this email out to
friends, family, work, other cycling email lists, or whatever. Im
especially speaking to Eugene, and Corvallis area. We need your help.
Just have them contact me for cordinating their volunteer duty and
schedule. Come be part of this great event!
This years event is in need of many volunteers. In order to make this
event a great success we need people to volunteer. Please contact your
friends, significant others and family members to help out on this
event. Great events like these just don't happen, they take dedicated
volunteers to come through and make it a seemless operation.
Volunteers for the Cycling Classic will receive great perks this years
since it is associated with the city wide festival. Eugene Celebration
volunteers receive:
- A Celebration Button, available when you check in for your shift, good
for admission to the Eugene Celebration for the entire weekend!
- All volunteers receive a special 2001 Celebration T-shirt.
- Automatic entry into our volunteer raffle where you can win some great
prizes!
- Best seat in the house for some great racing.
- Clearly defined job descriptions, so you know exactly when you are
working the event
Shifts run for 3 hours each day (Sept. 15 and 16th) and jobs include the
following:
corner marshall
parking monitor
finish monitor
set-up
registration
clean-up
caravan drivers (experience necessary)
I am building the volunteer schedule and need interested volunteers to
contact me immediately so i know what positions are full and to anwser
any questions. As of today we have just a few volunteers working the
cycling classic. WE NEED YOU...please contact me very soon about this!
