Place: King Estate Winery (Eugene, Oregon)

The King Estate in Eugene plays host to one of the most important races on

the Oregon cycling calendar this Sunday. The wonderfully scenic vineyard

and winery will be transformed into a world class venue for the Cyclo-Cross

Crusade Finals/ State Championship race. The race promises to be one of the

most scenic cyclo-cross courses in the country. This brand new cyclo-cross

course promises to be challenging and fast with plenty of room for passing.

It has long, fast and fun descents, smooth pavement climbs, many traverses

through the vineyard and a commensurate amount of mud (if the weather

cooperates) to balance

things out.

button views the parking area, and if you look at the "tower patio" area,

look beyond the benches for an overview of part of the course.

Immediately following the days racing, there will be an Awards Ceremony and

raffle. State Championships and Cross-Crusade Series awards will be handed

out at this time. For those of us who are not in the running for series

awards, there is a raffle open to all registered racers. In the raffle, you

will have an opportunity to win a new 'cross frame, a Festina watch, Mavic

rims and tons other great items of swag. If you show, you are virtually

guaranteed to walk away with something swank from the raffle. More on this

as details unfold.

10:00am- Red Lizard XC Footrace

11:00am- Beginners/ Masters 45+

11:50am- Women A, Women B, Women 35+ and Juniors

12:40pm- Men Category B

1:45pm- Men Cat. A/ Masters 35-44

3:00pm- Awards Ceremony/ Raffle (open to all registered racers)
