COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course is an eleven mile loop around scenic Henry-Hagg lake. Neutral
start onto Scoggins Valley Rd, right onto West Shore Dr., back to Scoggins
Valley Rd. to finish one flat to rolling lap. 750 feet net elevation gain
per lap.
FEES:
$5 registration fee for juniors regardless of category raced/$17
pre-registration all other OBRA riders/$20 Day of event Registration.
Three-race pass - $45. This is an OBRA event/Day of event OBRA licenses
are available to non-OBRA members. USCF licenses are NOT required. Send
pre-registration with standard athletes release form to Jeff Mitchem, 3143
SE Main Street, Portland, OR 97214. Pre-registration must be postmarked
by the Wednesday prior to each race date.

***The March 3rd race will be the first leg of the season long Oregon Cup.
Promoter reserves the right to combine or split groups. ANSI approved
helmets required.
Prizes will be a combination of $1000 CASH / GIFT CERTIFICATES / PRODUCT.
Cash will be split between Pro 1/2 Men and Women based on participation.
Prizes for all other categories will be gift certificates and product.
Product sponsors are: LEW Wheels (one set of Palermo wheels for Pro1/2
men), Castelli USA, ETXEoONDO, CRAFT, PEARL iSUMi, POLO RL. Gift
Certificates will be to River City Bicycles.
POINTS SYSTEM:
Points will be accumulated over the series for overall prizes awarded
following the last race, Sunday, March 18th. First (16pts), second
(13pts), third (10pts), fourth (8pts), fifth (6pts), sixth (5pts), seventh
(4pts), eighth (3pts), ninth (2pts), tenth (1pt).
DIRECTIONS TO THE BANANA BELT COURSE:
From I-5 (N or S) go West on Hwy. 26 via I-405 N or S, and veer left onto
Hwy. 6/ Banks/Tillamook exit at MP54. Go approx. 2 miles on Hwy. 6 and
turn left to head South on Hwy. 47. Go approx. 10 miles to a right onto
Scoggins Valley Rd/ Henry Hagg Lake Park. Follow the signs on Scoggins
Valley Rd to registration and parking located on the far side of the lake
at Boat Ramp "C".
REGISTRATION:
Opens at 8:00am under the registration banner until 15 minutes prior to
start times.
PRO/1/2 - Category 3 - Masters 35+ ONLY:
Pro/1/2 Hot spot points will be awarded on the end of laps 1 and 3 of the
first race, and laps 1, 3, and 5 of the second and third races; Cat 3 and
Masters hot spot points will be awarded at the end of the second lap of
each week. Hot spot points will be added to riders overall point
tally. Points go three deep (5, 3, 1).
