Who Where When: The perfect Father?s Day Present, Sunday June 16th, 2002 is

a day of racing the entire family can enjoy in Corbett, Oregon. Located just

30 minutes East of Portland. Bring the whole family to watch the racer in

your clan and enjoy a day of being together out at scenic Corbett in the

Columbia River Gorge. First rider off at 9:30AM.



Course: Staging and start for this 16.5 mile point to point course, are

located at the Corbett Middle/High School parking area. The course will

roll Eastward along the National Scenic Highway, then up Larch Mountain Road

to the finish line sitting atop beautiful and scenic Larch Mountain Picnic

Area. Pavement is excellent to good with an elevation gain of 3200?.



Registration: Pre-registration is strongly encouraged... Cost is $15

(Juniors $5) postmarked by Saturday June 1st, $18 by Saturday June 8th and

$20 for day-of-event entries. Starting order for pre-registered racers

within Categories will be based on the latest TT BAR standings as provided

by OBRA Day of race entries will be limited with no guarantee to number,

starting time or position. All preregistered riders will have their start

times posted on the OBRA listserve. Preregister and know your start times!!

Categories will be started together but groups larger than 10 riders may be

scored separately. Promoter reserves the right to determine breakdown.

Schedule: Rider check-in is required from 8:00 to 9:00 with the first rider

off the ramp at 9:30 on 30 second intervals. A short event for riders under

10 years of age is under consideration in the parking lot from 9:00 to 9:25.

(Permit Pending).



Requirements: This is an OBRA event, a season or single day license is

required. Helmets are mandatory and must be worn at all times riders are on

bikes, regardless of whether they are racing, all OBRA rules are in effect.

Riders returning to the staging area must obey all rules of the roads and

highways.

Directions:. From Portland, take I-84 east to the Corbett exit [22]. Go up

the hill to Corbett and take the right fork [west] at the Crown Point sign.

Park at Corbett High School in downtown Corbett Additional parking behind

the school can be reached via a left on Evans road just before the school.



Warning! Weather conditions on Larch Mountain are unpredictable. It is

advisable to have a ride back down or at least some very warm clothing

waiting at the top, however parking at the top is limited.
