Just a reminder to all of you Cat 1/2/3 men and women crit specialists....
The Rose Pedal Twilight Criterium has $5,000 in cash prizes up for grabs on
Friday evening, August 9th in the beautiful Park blocks of downtown
Portland. Note: course has changed from an 8 turn 'T' shaped course, to a 6
turn 'L' shape. With any luck, we'll have a course map up on www.obra.org
very soon. Also, the race organizers have secured neutral mechanical/wheel
support, so you can just ride to the race and have at it. The racing
promises to be fast and furious. The event should be just as enjoyable for
the spectator as it is for the racers.
This race kicks off a huge weekend of crit racing in Oregon with the
Crawfish Festival Crit on Saturday and the District Crit Championships on
Sunday. See www.obra.org for more details.
