The Cannondale/PDX Int'l Cyclocross Classic is this Saturday 10/19. It is

also the 3rd stop of the 'Cross Crusade series. www.crosscrusade.com

In addition to the record breaking fields of local riders for the 'Cross

Crusade, we will have many nationally ranked riders in town to do battle in

the Elite Men's and Women's fields. Expected attendess:

US National Champion Todd Wells (Mongoose/Hyundai)

Kona-Kenwood Team (Dale Knapp, Bart Bowen, Eric Tonkin, Barry Wicks, Ann

Grande, Jeanette Nussbaum)

Team Clif Bar (Jackson Stewart, Dave Wyandt, Andy Jacques-Maynes, Gina Hall,

Carmen D'Alusio)

Canadian Nat'l Champion Peter Wedge. There's more but I don't have the reg

list in front of me.

We are also expecting to have the deepest talent field in the Masters 35+

race that has been seen since Supercup several years back. Many hot shot

master's racers from California and Washington to do battle with our deep

and talented local field.

This Saturday's race is also the second race in the 4 race "Grail De La

Grunge" friendly competition between Portland and Seattle. Right now

Portland is up 1-0 and we can put them away this weekend with a solid race

on Saturday and another one on Sunday in Seattle. We need to send a solid

contingent up to the Sunday event in Seattle to help keep the cup in

Bring out all of your friends and family to watch you race, pack a picnic
