Subject: NWCYCLING: West Seattle Cyclocross this Sunday!!! Benefit for St.
Jude's Childr
Many of you are starting to think of next years racing and asking yourselves
"how will I get a good workout in the rain?" Cyclocross is really just a
short mountain bike race, and it is used by many of the best Road, Mountain
and Track racers to keep some intensity in their programs in the Fall
(including our own Kenny Williams and Russell Stevenson). And even if you
don't race, it is a fun event to go watch. Join us this Sunday at West
Seattle's Lincoln Park on the Sound.
The Seattle Series has added a new and unique sponsor, BiciVideo. They have
DVD's and VHS tapes of the best European coverage of Cyclocross/Road/Track
and we are raffling what is in my opinion the best cyclocross race I have
ever seen, the 2002 Worlds in Zolder Belgium. This race has classic British
commentary with stunning visual DVD beauty and 50,000 Belgians just freaking
out over their hero's till the climatic ending in this very aggressive and
tactical race...this is the only source for this race in America, and
BiciVideo has other great cyclocross titles for your holiday wish list and
library. We will be raffling this DVD along with 2 other VHS tapes on
Sunday.
Big raffle at 12:30 where we give away:
a.. Redline Cyclocross Frame
b.. Microsoft XP Pro OS software
c.. Office XP Professional
d.. BiciVideo's DVD's and VHS tapes of Cross Worlds 2002 in Zolder, Full
Tour Stages, etc...
e.. Mini-pumps from REI and
f.. much, much more...
Grand Raffle prize of a Microsoft XBox with 4 awesome games at our final
race Dec. 8th! We even provide lunch for the whole family at the Rad Racing
NW concessions tent, so bring your appetite.
Check out the details, times and driving directions at:

All proceeds from this non-profit event goes to better cross and track
racing in the Puget Sound and the St. Jude's Children's research hospital
